U.S. News & World Report is out with its 2018 ranking of the top places to live in the U.S. — and Charlotte again made the cut. But, the Queen City slipped a few rungs this year.
Charlotte dropped to No. 22, down eight spots from No. 14 in 2017. The accompanying slideshow shows how each metro in the Carolinas that was included on the list fared in the rankings.
The Raleigh-Durham area once again claimed the top spot in North Carolina, though it, too, fell to No. 13 from No. 7 last year.
