Alpharetta leaders are envisioning a more walkable future by linking existing development with a trail network.
The city finalized details for a $15.2 million extension of the Alpha Loop, the 8-mile greenway planned to encircle the northern Atlanta suburb. The latest route, which is set for a groundbreaking in a few weeks, will stretch from Old Milton Parkway to Northwinds Parkway, connecting to the Atley residential development, Westside Parkway and the Northwinds office campus.
