The Overland Park City Council rejected a plan for apartments on the edge of Deer Creek Golf Club, and owner GreatLife subsequently shuttered the course and announced plans to convert it to a single-family subdivision. Now, neighbors say they're hearing rumblings that the apartment plan may be coming back.
