A beloved, but closed, Portland brewery gets an ascending new tenant for its Central Eastside space


Hair of the Dog, one of Portland's destination breweries until it closed last year, has enlisted a new brewer to both fill its Central Eastside locale and deploy its brewing equipment.

The new tenant at 61 S.E. Yamhill St., called Labyrinth Forge, confirmed on Instagram it's moving to the spot to which beer tourists once flocked to taste Belgian ales and other concoctions from Alan Sprints. Hair of the Dog closed the spot last summer as Sprints, one of the city's most respected brewers, retired.
