LynLake Brewery in south Minneapolis won't be taken over by Wisconsin-based Oliphant Brewing after all.
Oliphant was granted liquor licenses in January for 2934 Lyndale Ave. S., where LynLake operates, a sign that a deal was in the works between the two breweries, though neither company commented at the time.
LynLake founder Mark Anderson confirmed Wednesday that Oliphant's purchase agreement ultimately fell through.
