Affordable condo project caters to residents harmed by urban renewal


A new affordable housing project will try to address at least some of the fallout from past urban renewal efforts that pushed residents out of the Interstate Corridor area in North Portland.

Located at 5020 N. Interstate Ave., the 64-unit, mixed-income project comes from a partnership between Portland nonprofits Proud Ground and Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East.
