After 31st & Main buildings got rare historic designation against owner’s wishes, they’re up for sale


A quartet of Midtown buildings dating as far back as 1888 seemed destined for the wrecking ball as of last spring. However, after local outcry and a rare historic protection bestowed by Kansas City officials, PriceMgmtCo. has started seeking new buyers that could make use of the buildings' historic elements as part of a future project along the southern streetcar line.
