After delay, Hilton Minneapolis gets new foreclosure auction date


A new foreclosure auction date has been set for the Hilton Minneapolis, the largest hotel in the Twin Cities.

The sheriff's sale for the hotel will now be held Friday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, according to a public notice. The 826-room hotel was originally scheduled to be auctioned on Jan. 13, but the sale was canceled — a common occurrence with sheriff's sales.
