After selling mansion, Lance Armstrong downsizes with Old West Austin home

The home is much smaller than the 8,185-square-foot mansion Armstrong sold in June to Carey Smith, the entrepreneur behind Big Ass Fans. This one has three bedrooms and three bathrooms — and the high-profile cyclist purchased it under his own name instead of setting up a business or limited liability corporation, as is common with celebrity residential transactions.
