Alabama ranks low for best places to start a business


In a study that ranked the best and worst states in the U.S. for starting a business, Alabama landed among the top five states where labor costs are lowest.

The state ranked No. 41 overall for best places to start a business.

That’s according to a WalletHub study that ranked the 50 states based on key indicators of startup success to determine the most fertile grounds in which to launch and grow an enterprise.
