Aldi to open new Alabama grocery store location


The Rocket City is adding its fourth ALDI grocery store on Jan. 16.

Located at 2900-A Memorial Parkway SW in Huntsville, the new store will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Plans for the new location were first announced in June 2018.

The move is part of a larger $3.4 billion expansion project to open 2,500 new or remodeled stores by the end of 2022 — an investment that is expected to create 25,000 new jobs in ALDI stores, warehouses and offices.
