Alexander Brown Restaurant developer, owner headed to court


The developer of downtown Baltimore's upscale Alexander Brown Restaurant is going to court over fees it alleges were never paid.

An entity linked to Metropolitan Partnership filed in Baltimore City Circuit Court for a mechanic's on the historic building at 135 E. Baltimore St. last month. According to court documents, Metropolitan Baltimore IV LLC says property owners Brown Realty LLC and Brown Exchange Joint Venture LLC still owe $195,521 for construction management work and services.
