Alexandria buys part of another Kendall Square building


An affiliate of Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. has paid $120 million to Schlumberger Ltd. to buy a chunk of a seven-story building in Cambridge’s Kendall Square, growing its hefty portfolio of properties in the biotech hotbed. The site is divided into commercial condominium units, and the life sciences real estate giant is buying space on two floors.
