Allegheny County sued by former employees over Covid vaccine mandate


Allegheny County is being sued by more than a dozen former employees over their firing last year for declining to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

The federal lawsuit on behalf of the 13 employees asks for hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensatory damages for being fired and for allegedly having their medical privacy invaded.

The 13 plaintiffs are representing themselves in the matter, claiming they were forced to release personal medical information and that they were denied religious exemption…
