Almost $70,000 was raised at the Gem City Shine benefit concert, with all proceeds benefitting the Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund.
The Dayton Foundation's fund received an additional $68,634 in contributions from the thousands of Dayton-area residents attending the concert Aug. 25. The concert was hosted by Dave Chappelle, the Oregon District Business Association, Downtown Dayton Partnership, city of Dayton, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.
