Amazon.com Inc. is considering plans to open up to 3,000 checkout-free convenience stores by 2021, according to Bloomberg, which cited unnamed sources it said were “familiar with the matter."
The Seattle-based etailer is weighing plans to open about 10 of the cashierless concept stores by the end of the year, 50 Amazon Gos in major cities next year and up to 3,000 by 2021, Bloomberg reported.
