Ambitious fund buys land to alter metro Atlanta’s food system


Land in metro Atlanta is in high demand from industrial developers and homebuilders, which are expanding across Georgia because of the booming electric vehicle industry. Meanwhile, a conservation nonprofit also wants the land — but not for building. The organization has an ambitious plan to change the food system, first in Atlanta, then across the nation.
