In contrast to a national trend of banks trimming their brick and mortar presence, Republic Bank has opened a branch office in Tampa’s Westshore business district.
The new office, at 1300 N. Westshore Blvd., is Republic’s seventh branch in the Tampa Bay area, and the first office it has added locally since buying Cornerstone Community Bank in May 2016.
