Anna’s Taqueria restaurants to close Friday after owner’s death


All eight Anna's Taqueria locations will close for the day on Friday as the business mourns the untimely death of its co-founder, Michael Kamio.

The owner of the popular quick-service Mexican food chain died suddenly on Feb. 8, according to his obituary. A funeral service will be held for Kamio in Wellesley on Feb. 15. Anna's locations in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville and Newton will be closed for business that day and reopen Saturday.
