Apartments to rise behind old Threadgill’s on N. Lamar


More than 100 apartments are set to rise behind the old Threadgill's on North Lamar Boulevard, a restaurant that achieved somewhat mythic status for its music history. The old eatery will actually be preserved in front of the new development, the Austin American-Statesman reported.
