Budweiser unveils George Washington-inspired beer to benefit vets


The first U.S. President, Gen. George Washington, was known to have enjoyed beer in his day. After all, he bade farewell to his officers of the Continental Army at New York's own Fraunces Tavern in Downtown Manhattan.

A lesser known fact is that Washington had a penchant for crafting his own beer.

Now courtesy of Anheuser-Busch Inbev SA, that recipe has been brewed and bottled for mass consumption.
