Appeals court questions evidence, time limits, lack of restitution in UDF executives’ convictions

A federal appeals court peppered prosecutors with questions about the strength of the evidence and the fairness of the trial in which four executives of North Texas-based residential development lending firm UDF were convicted of fraud.
