Appeals court sides with city of Hutto in legal spat over proposed $800M real estate development


The Texas Seventh District Court of Appeals agreed with a trial judge's prior decision to dismiss a June 2020 lawsuit brought by Legacy Hutto LLC against the city of Hutto. The legal spat ties back to plans announced in 2019 to develop an $800 million mixed-use hub in the Williamson County city, but that never came to fruition.
