Arcadia announces reduced-gluten wheat for breads, pasta


Davis-based agricultural technology company Arcadia Biosciences Inc. is adding a reduced-gluten wheat to its line of GoodWheat branded ingredients, with plans to have the first breads made with the product tested by the end of this year.

The commercial launch of the product could follow about a year later, the company said in a statement.

Arcadia (Nasdaq: RKDA) is also developing reduced-gluten Durum wheat for pasta.
