Charlotte-based Atrium Health is working with Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) to allow patients to schedule appointments via Alexa, an artificial intelligence-driven personal assistant.
Patients can use Alexa to schedule appointments at Atrium's 31 urgent care locations in the Charlotte region. They can also hear wait times, hours and phone numbers of these locations. Alexa can pull up Atrium emergency department locations as well.
