Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Comprehensive Cancer Center receives $3.1 million NIH grant to study heart damage in breast cancer patients


Researchers at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Comprehensive Cancer Center received a $3.1 million NIH grant to study heart vessel damage in young breast cancer survivors. They will recruit a diverse group of women, particularly Black women, who have higher rates of both breast cancer and heart disease.
