Rings of cigarette smoke have clouded the Melrose Billiard Parlor since it opened in 1944.
In 2016, A. Ray Hospitality, founded by Nashville native Austin Ray, took over the Billiard Parlor, and took on a “caretaker mentality,” allowing patrons to continue smoking amongst the old-school dive bar’s pool, pingpong and foosball tables.
