Small businesses capitalizing on Greater Philadelphia’s real estate development


Commercial and residential real estate in Greater Philadelphia is booming. According to a recent housing report from the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation at Drexel University, home sales activity in the City of Philadelphia remained “exceptionally strong” through the end of 2018. In fact, 5,513 arms-length sales occurred in Q4, the highest sales volume in Q4 since the current bull market in local housing began its post-recession expansion in 2012.
