Bank of America donates $10M to Atrium Health for virtual health-care program in Charlotte schools


Starting this year, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students will have access to virtual health-care from school grounds.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) donated $10 million to Atrium Health for the launch of Meaningful Medicine, a new program created to improve health equity and economic mobility. Atrium Health announced the investment on Aug. 16 at Hidden Valley Elementary School, where a student described the impact of the virtual care program on her life.
