Bank of Blue Valley invests in microlending at Women’s Business Center


An agreement between Overland Park-based Bank of Blue Valley and the Women's Business Center is designed to foster more microloans and help more entrepreneurs make the step to traditional banking.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation invested $1.2 million in a program in the Kansas City area in 2017 to create a microlending program in combination with the Women's Business Center, AltCap, Hispanic Economic Development Corp. and Justine Petersen.
