Baptist upgrades cardiac labs, adds hybrid tech to OR


A $2 million building permit pulled on Aug. 27 for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis includes technology upgrades to an operating room and replacement of two specialty labs.

The project will replace two of the electrophysiological (EP) labs at Baptist Memphis and update one of the hospital’s operating rooms to hybrid OR technology, according to a Baptist spokesperson.

Sharp, Robbins & Popwell LLC was listed on the permit as the general contractor for the project.
