Bayer to lay off hundreds in Pittsburgh


A few months after announcing it would be closing its regional headquarters campus in Pittsburgh, Bayer has filed a WARN Notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, reporting that 487 jobs will be eliminated by the end of the year.

Bayer AG's North American Crop Science Division headquarters are located in St. Louis.
