Best Buy ‘virtual store’ warehouse in Twin Cities is sold


A longtime Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) warehouse in Bloomington, Minn., where the retailer has established a "virtual store" for online shoppers, has sold for $54 million.

California-based Orton Development Inc. made a $39 million down payment when it acquired of the property, located at 6201-03 W. 111th St. in Bloomington, from Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. at the beginning of December, according to an electronic certificate of real estate value.
