Two hotels in Bloomington came under new ownership this month.
The Best Western Plus and LaQuinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham both sold in deals that were worth similar per-room prices. The hotels are located in one of the state’s better-performing hospitality markets.
The Best Western sold to Eden Prairie-based Hempel Cos. for $13.2 million. With 210 rooms, the deal is worth around $63,000 per room. The hotel is located at 1901 Killebrew Drive, which is immediately south of the Mall of America.…
