Big Island boutique hotel to undergo major renovation: Slideshow


The husband-and-wife owners of the Kamuela Inn are expanding their renovation project of the boutique hotel on Hawaii’s Big Island to a redevelopment of one of the property’s three buildings.

Tim Bostock, a former entertainment promoter in Honolulu, and his wife, Melanie Holt, bought the 30-room hotel in the upcountry town of Waimea about three years ago, and set about renovating the interiors, updating furniture and soft goods, with Holt handling the design work.
