Blue Cross-backed Livio Health names new CEO


A local health care startup that makes house calls and runs pop-up urgent care clinics has named a new chief executive.

A.R. Weiler has been holding the reins of Minneapolis-based Livio Health Group, whose main backer is Eagan-based Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, for about the last three weeks.

Livio specializes in serving through house calls low-income and elderly patients covered by Medicaid and Medicare. Blue Cross made its first investment in Livio in 2016 and another in July 2017.…
