Boston Private’s CEO will step down, and an outsider will take over


Clayton Deutsch, CEO of Boston Private Financial Holdings Inc., will step down from the company this month to be replaced by a former Credit Suisse and UBS executive.

Deutsch’s departure from Boston Private (Nasdaq: BPFH) has been in the works for more than a year, the company said in a statement Monday. The 63-year-old Deutsch plans to retire on Nov. 26.

His replacement that day will be Anthony DeChellis, whose last executive role was as president of OurCrowd, an equity crowdfunding platform.…
