Bradenton woman sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for government funds theft


A Bradenton woman will serve nearly two years in federal prison after she pleaded guilty in December to stealing government funds and counterfeiting and forging securities.

Roselle Fitzgerald will serve 21 months in federal prison and was handed down a $185,731 judgement — the proceeds of her theft — by U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington as well as an order to pay restitution.
