Broadway tours hit the road again last year, but only two of the top 20 shows stopped in KC


After 18 months of the longest hiatus in Broadway history due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Broadway returned to center stage last May for the 2021-22 season.

For the season, 13 of the top 20 shows toured; rankings are determined by gross revenue in New York. Only two of the 2021-22 season's 20 highest-grossing Broadway shows made a tour stop in Kansas City last season.
