Buc-ee’s closer to coming to N.C. with purchase of land at proposed Mebane site


A real estate company associated with Texas-based Buc-ee’s has bought about 32 acres at the site proposed for the chain's first North Carolina travel center as the city of Mebane prepares to consider approvals for the project.
