Cal Ripken’s Maryland estate sells at auction, but buyer still a secret


The former homestead of Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. will officially change hands on June 11 following a successful auction sale on Saturday.

The buyers — who still remain a secret — will settle on the property at 13301 Dover Rd. on that date, said Karen Hubble Bisbee Monday.

Bisbee represented two of the eight bidders on the property — including the winning bidder.
