Kiosks, table service part of McDonald’s $251 million Ohio plans
Your local McDonald’s is getting a makeover.
The Oak Brook, Illinois-based fast food chain and its franchisees are investing $6 billion in updating its U.S. restaurants by 2020. The Ohio cut of that is $251 million that will go toward improvements at 380 McDonald’s Corp. restaurants in the state.
The upgrades coming include:

The Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra will offer a preview of its upcoming season with a free concert in Eden Park this Thursday.
The 17-piece ensemble will perform a mix of jazz standards and contemporary compositions with singer Adia Dobbins 6-9 p.m. Aug. 16 at Seasongood Pavilion, 950 Eden Park Drive in Mount Adams.

McDonald’s investing $111 million to modernize Colorado restaurants
McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) and its franchisees are investing $111 million to modernize 140 Colorado restaurants throughout 2018 and 2019, according to a news release.
The remodeled restaurants will include digital self-order kiosks where guests can browse the menu, customize their order and pay for their meal. Digital menu boards will also be added inside and at the drive-thru.
