New Houston-area craft brewpub plans to open this fall
Fortress BeerWorks, a family-friendly craft brewpub, plans to open this fall north of Houston, according to a press release from NAI Partners.
The brewpub leased a 6,620-square-foot space at 2606 Spring Cypress Road in Spring, about 1.5 miles west of Interstate 45 North and less than a mile south of the Grand Parkway. Chris Caudill of NAI Partners represented Fortress in the lease, while Lee and Associates’ Thomas Leger and Chase Cribbs represented landlords Blake Vincent and Richard Werner.

Freddy’s Tacos planned for Center Street just west of Sherman Park neighborhood
A Mexican taqueria is planned for Center Street just a few blocks west of the Sherman Park neighborhood in Milwaukee.
Jose Aguilar, the proprietor behind Freddy’s Tacos, said he plans to open the shop by the end of this year. The restaurant would serve tacos, burritos and quesadillas at 4519 W. Center St., between the St. Joseph and Uptown neighborhoods

The Prism building, which was designed by Davis Partnership Architect, is a nine-story, core-and-shell office building development being led by Shea Properties. The office building of more than 100,000 square feet completes the build-out of the block between 17th and 18th streets, along Curtis Street, and is directly adjacent to The Quincy.
