Sushi restaurant on Fair Oaks Boulevard unveils new look
Miyagi Bar & Sushi is ready to reveal its remodeled interior, which its owner says is the restaurant's most expensive upgrade so far.
After temporarily closing for the project, the business at 2580 Fair Oaks Blvd., Suite 26, reopens tonight. Expect a cosmetic remodel that includes new flooring, redone bathrooms and new paint and art, according to owner Jimmy Khov. The $80,000 project took six days, he said.

Hawaii restaurants to take part in Joy of Sake event at the convention center
Honolulu restaurants are taking part in the annual Joy of Sake event when it returns to the Hawaii Convention Center on July 27.
The event, which first started in 2001, will feature 478 types of sake, over 300 more than druing its first year. More than half of the sakes at this year’s event are not available in the U.S.

Memphis arcade creates new reality for first-time business owners
For four first-time business owners, all it took was a trip to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to help them create a new reality.
FedEx employee Mike Callahan and his wife, vet tech Ashley, came back to Memphis last year raving about a virtual reality arcade. It didn’t take long for the pair to convince Mike’s brother, David, and his fiancé, nurse Heather Davis, to make a similar trip to Bowling Green.
