Mason will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. at 3704 N. Miami Ave., in a space formerly occupied by Gigi. High-protein diet may increase heart disease risk
Following a low-carbohydrate, high-protein eating plan may increase your risk of fatal heart disease, according to a new study.
The study, published in the American Heart Association journal Circulation: Heart Failure, found that the men with a high protein intake, especially from animal sources, had a 33 percent increased risk overall of developing heart failure.

The Coca-Cola Co. introduced its first alcoholic drink in the company’s history in Japan, a fizzy, lemon-flavored version of a popular low-alcohol beverage called “chu-hi.”
The Coca-Cola product, Lemon-Do, is available in 3 percent, 5 percent and 7 percent alcohol versions, Brand Channel reported, with the lower-alcohol versions targeted towards women.

An owner of a Chick-fil-A in Sacramento, Calif., is looking to dramatically increase the wages of his workers.
Eric Mason, the owner and operator of the restaurant, told ABC 10 in Sacramento that he plans to raise wages of his workers to $17-$18 per hour starting June 4. On that date, people can apply to become “hospitality professionals” at the store to receive the new wage.
