Boston Private’s CEO will step down, and an outsider will take over
Clayton Deutsch, CEO of Boston Private Financial Holdings Inc., will step down from the company this month to be replaced by a former Credit Suisse and UBS executive.
Deutsch’s departure from Boston Private (Nasdaq: BPFH) has been in the works for more than a year, the company said in a statement Monday. The 63-year-old Deutsch plans to retire on Nov. 26.

Birmingham brokerage firm completes big deal in New Jersey
Birmingham-based brokerage firm Highland Capital Brokerage has acquired certain assets of Marlton, New Jersey-based Four Seasons Financial Group, an independent insurance and annuity distribution company.
