Columbus might have lost a North Side bowling alley, but it just could gain something it desperately needs: affordable housing.

The tradeoff, in my opinion is a no-brainer.

As you will read below, a developer in town wants to replace a vacant alley in the Northland area with five-story apartment building.

To me, that's a strike any way you score it.
