The revolution in cell therapy apparently will be manufactured in the Bay Area.
Allogene Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ALLO), a company promising a new approach to cancer with off-the-shelf, ready-to-use cell therapies, said it plans to build a manufacturing facility in the Bay Area.
"We hope to announce what we intend to do in the near future," cofounder, President and CEO David Chang said Tuesday at the 37th annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
