Cerner analyst: ‘Cooperation agreement is a sign of weakness’


Analysts with New York-based investment research firm CFRA have lowered their opinion of Cerner Corp.'s stock because they believe the recent cooperation agreement with Starboard Value LP "is a sign of weakness."

"We lower our opinion on shares of CERN to Strong Sell from Sell," Kevin Huang, equity analyst at CFRA, wrote in a research note on Wednesday, adding, "shares of CERN, trading at 23.9x our forward earnings estimate, are above fair value."
