Chase, the largest U.S. bank in total assets, announced Wednesday that it will expand its retail branches to St. Louis and eight other markets this year.
Chase said it plans to hire up to 700 employees and open up to 90 branches in the nine markets, though it declined to say how many in each market. “We’re not ready to disclose that at this time,” Brian Hanover, head of U.S. regional communications, told the Business Journal when asked about the number of branches in St. Louis.
